Teneria Vargas was founded in 1954 by Mr. Jesus Vargas Carrillo who is the father of our General Executive Mr. Jesus Vargas Martin del C.
Nowdays, Teneria Vargas gives great importance to its modernization and training efforts to produce specialized and better quality leather, All the Tannery’s staff are qualified and with its technology we place ourselves in one of the top positions in the region as leather producers.
We actually have two plants, one for the Wet Blue production, that represents the answer for the growth and expansion, and it is a significant support to the production capacity and competitiviness with the biggest and most important tanneries in the country, apart to representing a new alternative to face the ecological demands. The other is only for the retanning and finishing areas, that provide a more clean and organized spaces into the working area and faster deliveries with costumers and shipment companies.
